There are many names for soul—being-ness, The Self, depth, a “knowing” force within, the persistent whisper of Truth, or what mythologist Michael Meade calls “the invisible center of life.” It can also be said that soul is an alive presence which is dynamic, vital and energetic.

Regardless of the elusive label, do you have a felt sense of this mysterious traveller within you? Is it calling for your attention? Are you longing for more meaning and depth in your life?

Since soul is primarily concerned with what best serves your life—wholeness, meaning and purpose—it’s worthwhile to spend time listening for and connecting with this endless source of wisdom and imaginative power.

ABOUT THE DAY

In this silent day-long retreat, we’ll be guided by our brushes to invite soul into tangible presence through alternating sessions of meditation and mindful painting.

Silence and meditation will help us sink deeper into the center of our life so we can listen for soul’s native language—poetry, archetypal symbols, imagery and mythic stories.

A deeply nourishing experience, a deep dive into creativity and beingness. Brody created a safe space for exploration and expression of inner depths. I wholeheartedly recommend this workshop for creatives who need a break from the noise of daily life.

The experience was so much more than I anticipated. Part of that was being in the studio. A great deal of that was the facilitation and your natural gift of putting people at ease. And the intimacy of a small group.
